13th Annual Meet the Author book signing.  Dog enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet and talk with prominent authors of both canine and general interest books…meet:

• Tracie Hotchner, The Dog Bible: Everything Your Dog Wants You To Know—Tracie is the producer/writer/host of DOG TALK®, a live weekly call-in radio show on NPR station WLIU out of South Hampton College, New York. Tracie is also the author of The Cat Bible: Everything Your Cat Expects You to Know, and is the producer/writer/host of CAT CHAT®, a weekly live call-in show on the Martha Stewart Channel of Sirius Satellite Radio. She will be taping an upcoming show on the day.
• Susan Bulanda, Scenting On the Wind, Scent Work for Hunting Dogs and Ready to Serve, Ready to Save: Strategies of Real Life Search and Rescue Missions—Susan is an animal behavior consultant and vice president of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.  She has also developed and teaches programs for students who wish to become dog trainers or canine behavior consultants at Kutztown University. Susan is recognized worldwide as a search and rescue dog handler and incident commander. Susan’s newest book, God’s Creatures: A Biblical View of Animals, takes an interesting look at the animals in the bible.

Darlene has also written Small Dogs, Big Hearts, a book which is considered to be the bible for small dog owners. Two more books by Darlene will also be featured, The Angell Memorial Animal Hospital Book of Wellness and Preventive Care for Dogs and Unbelievably Good Deals and Great Adventures that you absolutely can’t get unless you’re a dog.
• Bardi McLennan, Rescue Me! (Your Guide to Selecting, Adopting and Caring for a Shelter or Rescue Dog) —Bardi, a Greenwich Kennel Club Member, has written a reality-packed guide which introduces readers to all types of dogs in need of new homes, both purebred and mixed breeds, from shelters and rescue groups. Splendidly illustrated with color photographs of happily rehomed dogs, as well as, shelter and rescue candidates, this book offers advice on the adoption process, training and care for the “second-hand” dog.
• Charlotte Reed, The Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette and The Definitive Guide to Manners for Pets and Their People—Charlotte is renowned for her pet know-how, energy and wit, and is a popular television guest, journalist, and spokesperson. She serves as a board member for the New York State Veterinary Board, the Dog Writers Association of American, Angel on a Leash and the Metropolitan Dog Club. Reed graduated from Fordham Law School and Lafayette College and lives with her husband, Chef Matthew Babbage and a family of 3 English Toy Spaniels, 3 Himalayan cats and one Eclectus parrot.
